ArcView Spring Protection Zone Databases and Spring Protection Zone Boundaries were produced for the reports.

•••The primary focus of this study was a quantitative dye trace that was designed to show levels of connectivity of the Park’s springs. Flow measurements, underwater exploration and cave mapping were also conducted as part of the study.
Aquifer Characterization by Quantitative Dye Tracing

•••A series of quantitative dye releases were made from spring taps developed for water bottling purposes. These releases confirmed the connectivity of the taps to the main spring via common cave conduits, satisfying springwater classification for HRS Consumptive Use Permits.
Jackson Blue Spring Dye Trace

•••Worked with and for AECOM/URS Southern Corp. Teamed with AECOM to design, plan and conduct a dye trace of two sink and one swallet feature to Jackson Blue Spring and the Merritt's Mill Pond Spring Group.
Booker Springs Tract Sinks Connectivity Study
A component of the Middle Suwannee River and Springs Restoration and Aquifer Recharge Project, 2014; for the Suwannee River Water Management District.
•••The Study will assist the SRWMD with identifying hydrogeological connections at the Booker Springs Tract springs on the Suwannee River in Dixie and Lafayette Counties, Florida.
Silver Springs Nutrient Pathway Characterization (aka Silver Springs Dye Trace)
Ocala/Silver Springs area and Silver Springs/Silver River State Park, Marion County, FL, 2009-2011; for the St. Johns River Water Management District.
•••Working with and for URS Corp. Assisted with design, planning, and organization of two phase trace. Established sampling sites and background sampling. Supervised dye release into three surface water input sites. Managed all sampling activities at the Silver Springs Group and selected well sampling sites. Included a submerged discharge measurement of Mammoth Spring.
Manatee Springs Dye Trace
Chiefland area and Manatee Springs State Park, Levy County, FL, 2009; for the Florida DEP.
•••Worked with and for URS Corp. Designed, organized and conducted a dye trace of a drainage sink in Chiefland to the Manatee Springs Cave System and selected wells.
Weeki Wachee Springs Dye Trace
Weeki Wachee area and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, Hernando County, FL, 2009; for the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
•••Worked with SWFWMD staff to design, organize and conduct a dye trace of selected wells to Weeki Wachee Spring and other local springs.
Mill and Lee Sinks Dye Trace
Northwest Alachua County area, Mill Creek and Lee Sinks to Various Santa Fe River Springs, Alachua County, FL, 2005; for the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department.
•••Designed, organized and conducted dye trace of Mill Creek Sink and Lee Sink (swallet for Cellon Creek) to potential connections along the Santa Fe River, with various private and municipal wells also monitored. The connection of Hornsby Spring to both sinks was confirmed.

•••As part of a volunteer effort, designed, organized and executed tracer dye study of the Ichetucknee Trace. Connections of various park springs to Rose Creek Swallet were confirmed, along with an identification of travel times. Coordinated various governmental agencies and citizen volunteers.

Three Sisters Springs Sediment Depth Measurements

•••Probed and measured sediment thickness at 220 locations to capture a comprehensive coverage of each of the Three Sister's springs' pools. Coordinated probes and measurements with the survey team to obtain location coordinates, water depths and sediment thickness. Marked all locations and made a comprehensive underwater video record. Assisted geotechnical engineer to collect core soil samples.
Suwannee Springs Debris Removal

•••Removed man-made debris and rubble from spring vent. Physically removed and sorted rock, brick, masonry and trash, providing partial restoration of vent conditions.

•••Prepared and submitted Environmental Resource Permit to SWFWMD restoration of Bird Park Spring and adjacent waterways. Sediments were removed and dewatered, along with other rock and debris.

•••Provided on-site management and labor for airlift dredging operations used to remove debris accumulation from the lower section of Ginnie Spring. Tasks also included equipment set-up and take-down, de-watering basin construction, and diagram preparations for permit application.

•••A study of the spring was performed to assess utilization by a water bottling facility. Underground areas of the spring were stabilized, and the water intake for the plant was installed within the spring cavern.
